Every day I spend time at my altar with The Phantom Queen. I keep some of my every day jewelry here so at the very least I swing by and say hello. Most days I spend more time, singing, chanting, praying and often pulling some cards from her dedicated tarot deck. Frequently I would pull one to muse on for the day. One day I cleaned and refreshed Her altar, after spending some good time chanting I started shuffling the deck, pulled three cards without thinking laying one in the Cauldron, one on the Crown of Her skull candle, and the the third atop my Blade. Thus I have my Cauldron Crown and Blade reading.
It is interesting how proper arrangement of 'stuff' lets the messages through more clearly. I am still working on the visceral and mental understanding of this reading, collating layers and seeing what fits but it was a beautiful shift.
Since then I've been humming this little tune:
Cauldron, Crown, & Blade, By these my oaths I've made, Land and sea and sky for me and cauldron, crown and blade. Glory to the gods and un-gods! Glory to The Great Queen!

This is really beautiful, and makes that kind of perfect sense that often leaves me wondering why I didn't think of that before. I would really love to hear the tune that goes with those lovely words.
And a completely nosy question, have you discovered what the cauldron and crown signify in the layout? Or is it one of those mysteries that unveil each time?

Here is my current sort of broad feeling:
Cauldron: Inner workings, Otherworld messages, self development, associated with the Sea. Crown: Outward workings, how to reign today, interaction with others, associated with Land. Blade: Action, work to be done, study, craft, associated with Sky.
Its coming is waves and layers. Have you tried doing a reading this way yet? What do you feel?

I have not tried it out, yet. I'm sad to say that I have been remiss in my divination practice. I did some actual work on it last year and this one have just been focused on more present work. That being said, this thread has certainly reminded and inspired me to see what can be seen It really does resonate, with the power of three here. And also pulling in the symbolism of say cauldrons and swords from the tales. Cauldrons of transformation, of prosperity, of immortality. Swords, especially hero's swords being objects that heroes could not lie about their deeds with their swords around, really has a wonderful ring of truth to a reading. Cutting to the quick of it. I will report back once I've given it a go!
